The sacrifices we make for Science!This photo was taken during the winter of 1979 in Missouri. The Science Fair was in the spring so I was required to do the test flights in the snow. I recall it being so cold that the end of an ignitor stuck into the end of my finger and I didn’t even know it! I thought I had dropped it and was looking for it on the ground. My hands were so numb that it was on the end of my finger and I couldn’t even feel it.
