This was the first SLR camera that I put into a rocket. It flew only once in the Talon and took fantastic photographs. The camera is rather large, even for an SLR, and the connection for the cable release is not very conducive for putting in a rocket. However, it does have a built in motor drive that shoots at 2 frames per second.
The cameras on board Talon survived the flight but I no longer have the EOS 650 so I can't give many more details about it.
