The Minolta Maxxum 7000 was the first autofocus SLR camera. (Although you don't need the auto-focus feature for a camera rocket.) It is an extremely reliable camera. It has an electrical shutter release cable so disassembly is not required for connection to the timing circuit and with a top shutter speed of 1/2000th second, the pictures are frozen with absolutely no blurriness. It has a built in motor drive at about 2 frames per second to capture many shots during the burn of the motor. Three Minolta Maxxum 7000s flew on board my Level 3 certification flight My Mind's Eye. They are no longer made but can be a great buy at a used camera shop.
