After the success of the movie camera on the Nike 2000, I wanted to have a rocket just for doing a movie camera. I own several different movie cameras but never seem to get around to actually flying them. Its camera has been modified to drastically increase the shutter speed so the pictures are crisp and clear. It has been flown twice and the results are spectacular.

The Focal Point is a 4” diameter rocket but the payload section is unique. One cowling houses the camera and the other cowling has a removable door to access the inside. The sides of each cowling actually pass through the payload section to allow for loading the camera and to access the electronics.
