Details of the switch.
This photo shows the switch that I designed for the main chute sensor. If the chute was
deployed, the eyebolt compressed the spring and opened the switch. If for any reason the
chute failed to slow the payload section, the switch would be closed, allowing the backup
chute to be deployed.
